Waters at Longcreek Joins Local Communities and First Responders for National Night Out

COLUMBIA, S.C. — September 25, 2026 — Waters at Longcreek, an Atlantic Housing Foundation apartment community, is partnering with Broadview Apartments and Acasa Prosper Fairways, Columbia Police and Fire Departments, business owners, and community partners to host a National Night Out event in the Longcreek neighborhood of Columbia, South Carolina. This evening will be dedicated to strengthening neighborhood connections and building a stronger sense of community.

The event will take place Tuesday, October 6, from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Acasa Prosper Fairways at 1800 Longcreek Drive in Columbia, South Carolina. Attendees can enjoy an evening of family-friendly fun, including face painting, balloon animals, live music, complimentary treats, and local food trucks. Guests will also have the opportunity to meet local officers, explore police vehicles, and learn more about tactical equipment and community services. 

“National Night Out is about creating a community where residents feel connected, supported, and proud to call their community home,” said La Toya Jones, Atlantic Housing Foundation’s Director of Community Relations and Services. “We look forward to strengthening partnerships with our neighbors, local first responders, and community organizations and building connections that will continue long after this event.”

The event is free and open to the public. Longcreek residents are encouraged to invite their neighbors, friends, and families to join the celebration.
